This program is an opportunity for couples to discuss their respective goals, learn strategies for problem solving, negotiate conflicts and to bring to the surface their differing expectations.

Studies indicate that couples who attend an educational pre-and post-marriage programme resolve conflicts more constructively and seek help more quickly than engaged and newly married couples who did not attend such programs.

Non-religious pre-marriage programmes are now available in Owen Sound (on a couples or group basis).
